Half term - no work whch means lie-ins!, - however, very little time, peace and quiet to craft after entertaining the kids and refereeing their squabbles!

and back to more familiar territory - female birthday cards - so it was out with the glitter to embellish all the flowers on the paper background! A tad difficult to see them in the photo though; never mind! :-)

CPS Sketch

A birthday card for my brother based on this week's CPS sketch (CPS113).

Masculine cards are always a little more taxing - no opportunities for glitter and wonderful flowery embellishments!
I've gone for the "minimalist" look. Not sure if that's spelt right ??! anyhow you get the general idea ...

The present is "wrapped" with acetate to accentuate it a bit more - you can see that a bit better in the second photo.

Birthday Thanks

It was my birthday this week and my Mom took me out for the day and complete indulged me - we had a fab day! - so here's the card I made to thank her!

My inspiration for the sketch was from Sherie Siemens for the Taylored Expressions Challenge this week ( ref TECC52SS).

And I'm always up for multi-tasking so I reckon it also satisfies Papertake Weekly Challenge for 3 shapes!
