Robin Gold, not Red, Breast

A festive mix of scarlet and holly green - still couldn't resist a hint of gold :.). I picked up a load of this gold dotty ribbon in festive red, green and cream at the Harrogate fair. Actually the photo is pretty poor (possible present idea from Santa if he's reading this) as it doesn't show the dotty ribbon in its true glory nor the swiss dotty embossed green background. Anyhow you get the general dotty idea. . . . . . .

Sunny Sunday

Gosh I'm on a roll this weekend - loads of birthdays this month. At some point today I'm going have to clear all my crafting clutter (husband's terminology, not mine!) from the dining table and knock up Sunday lunch ... aah and I've been having such fun!

Well another BRIGHT card for Daring Cardmakers using this week's Taylored Expressions sketch.
Craftwork Cards papers, Cuttlebug embossing, glitter and pearls

All things Bright & Colourful ...

I obviously have a thing for pink and lime green this weekend.

This one was inspired by a Sketches for U sketch and hopefully satisfies Daring Cardmakers request for BRIGHT!

Happy Weekend!

urm, maybe a tad late with this card - posting it on Saturday for last week's Sketch Saturday Challenge Anyway at least it well get posted (Royal Mail style) in time for my father-in-law's birthday.

I love handbags

To celebrate their launch Handbag Planet are giving away free bags. Why not go and have a look! You've got to be in it to win it ...

How many shopping days left until Xmas ? ..

This week's Dutch Dare Challenge is another reminder to get moving with Xmas cards...urm 11 weeks until Xmas Day and how many cards do I need? I reckon I should be making a card everyday! Never mind starting to think about the kids' stockings and pressie lists ...

The inner scallopped window is embossed with snowflakes, unfortunately they don't show up too well on the photo :)

Dutch Dare ~ Challenge 14

These Blog challenge sites are quite addictive - I only started my Blog on Thursday! Nice to have some boundaries to work with, helps to focus the mind?!

A run of girls' birthdays this month; lots of pastel colours & glitter. The papers are from Craftwork Cards.
Only 1 week until the Harrogate Fair - can't wait, some serious spending is pending ...

Daring Cardmakers Challenge

My first go at a DCM challenge, the possibility of winning a Funky Hand download enticed me!

This is also my first foray into blogging ... could be interesting, and may take some time ...

The card is for my dad's birthday, hence the bolder colours and lack of bling! The yellow bird is supposed to be reminiscent of a canary (well, his birthday present is a pair of canaries!).

Then I had a go making Dad a matching notebook -to keep track of his canaries :) PS: I got the doodle bird is from TigerFrogg.

Thought I may as well continue with the DCM layout for my friend Carol who has just moved home, included the bling and glitter this time though.
